Red Hot Chili Peppers have played a surprise Halloween gig at a school assembly

Red Hot Chili Peppers embraced the spooky season in the most wholesome way imaginable. The band (trick or) treated the students and faculty at The Viewpoint School in Calabasas California to a surprise Chili’s concert.

Drummer Chad Smith took to Twitter to share a video of the band performing “Can’t Stop”, writing “Who rocks out at 9:30am at my kids’ school? We do!”

Each member of the Red Hot Chili Pepper’s dressed for the occasion. Chad Smith donned a Guy Fawkes mask and Pope robes, Flea rocked a skeleton suit, Josh Klinghoffer wore a green wig and sunglasses and Anthony Kiedis sported short-shorts and a mask.

Last month, Anthony Kiedis was booted from aLA Lakers game after yelling at an opposing team member, read all about it here.
